Before this starts sounding like a commercial, the Panasonic ToughBook Y2 does has some limitations, mainly no FireWire port, limited to 512MB RAM, a three-prong AC plug, and no writable DVD option. Others have also noted tinny sound.

However, the ToughBook Y2 offers good performance with a 1.3-GHz Low Voltage Intel Pentium M 713 processor and the miminiun 256MB of RAM using Windows XP Professional.
