Dell packs a lot of features and options in the Inspiron 9200 - making it a very verstile desktop replacement notebook. With a (2 GHz)Intel Pentium M processor, 1 GB DDR SDRAM and a 128MB ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 graphics chip - this Dell can handle just about everything. Gamers take note.

This Dell notebook computer has all the standard connections, ports, drives and slots you will need to replace your desktop PC. These include - four USB 2.0 ports, a multiformat double/layer DVD drive, and a Secure Digital card slot. The only thing missing is a TV tuner.

Display is handled with a 17 TFT active matrix wide-aspect screen that gives a very clear, crisp picture. Get the WXGA+ screen instead of the UXGA!

Dell Inspiron has one disadvantage compared to similiar notebooks like the Toshiba Qosmio and the HP Pavilion dv1000 - you cannot play discs without booting up the system.

Very good sound system for a laptop computer - two speakers and an internal subwoofer offers up a crisp/rich sound. Included is Dell's Media Experience 2.1 deluxe software which gives you a large screen interface - perfect for editing photos, sorting video clips, etc.
