Toshiba’s Digital Products Division (DPD), a division of Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., has announced that it will be empowering the already powerful Qosmio® X500 Series gaming machines with the new NVIDIA® GeForce™ GTX 460M graphics processor which has 1.5GB of discrete graphics memory. This will give more gaming performance to this award-winning gaming laptop.

The Qosmio X500 delivers an enthusiast-class package equipped with everything needed to fully enjoy and create high-definition content.”

The Qosmio X500 gaming rigs have the Intel® Core™ i5 and Core i7 processor options with Turbo Boost technology. They also have the 18.4-inch diagonal HD TruBrite® widescreen screen and harman/kardon® speakers. Plus a Blu-ray Disc for those high definition playbacks.
It also sports a fast dual-configuration 7200RPM HDD with solid state drive options and DDR3 memory up to 8GB, plus a host of ports and wireless connections.
The Qosmio X500 Series will start at $1,299.99 and will be available on Sept. 26, 2010 at Amazon.com or direct from Toshiba.
