Get $50 Off The New Haswell Alienware 14, 17 & 18 Laptops
Alienware has a well earned reputation for producing some of the most powerful gaming systems money can buy. Living up to its name, Alienware has consistently offered top of the line specs and performance in some bold looking rigs which have more than a little flash and style.
With the introduction of Intel's 4th Generation (Haswell) Core processors, Alienware has taken this opportunity to unveil a whole new design and look for its popular line of gaming notebooks. The newly designed laptops come with a much more angular look which still keeps the iconic logos, but have slightly new names: Alienware 14, Alienware 17 and Alienware 18.
The Alienware 14 was designed to give gamers more mobility and portability without sacrificing performance. It features the powerful 4th generation quad-core Intel i7 processor and an anti-glare LCD screen (14" WLED HD 1366 x 768 or 14" WLED FHD 1920 x 1080) with great viewing angles. It also has support for 3 storage drives so storing all those games won't be a problem - up to 512GB2 Solid State Drive and up to 750GB hard drive. It also has NVIDIA GeForce 700 series graphics cards and up to 16GB Dual Channel DDR3L at 1600MHz so playing the most modern games shouldn't be a problem. Weighing around 6 pounds, the Alienware 14 price starts at $1199.

The Alienware 17 gives gamers a little more display area to play with and a few more options. The Alienware 17 has an optional 3d display for those who want a True 3D experience. It also has support for four storage drives if they're needed. This laptop also sports the 4th generation Haswell processor (up to 8MB Cache at 3.9 GHz) and enough metal to build a small plane. It has an anodized aluminum shell which is reinforced with a magnesium alloy frame. There's a laser-engraved nameplate, and the AlienFX Lighting Zones gives "10 unique programmable zones with up to 20 distinct colors providing over 10 trillion lighting combinations."
There's an optional NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M with 4GB GDDR5 graphics memory which should also easily handle most modern games, especially when you can have up to 32GB of Dual Channel DDR3L at 1600MH. Full HD 17.3" (1920 x 1080) anti-glare display. Extra heat is handled by a rear GPU/CPU exhaust vent. Weighing around >b>9 pounds, the Alienware 17 price starts at $1499.

However, for those gamers who simply insist on a desktop PC for gaming, Alienware has also released the new X51 which can stand vertically or lie horizontally.
